When we think about stocks that could be headed for steady growth in the coming months, we need to take a long, hard look at the market. Stock prices are often determined by the market around and the outlook for current companies. With that in mind, companies like Monster, Inc. have an opportunity to see big time growth in their stock price over the next few months. How is this possible, you ask? It has everything to do with the current economy and how we’re starting to come out of the economic slump. Certain stocks will benefit more than others from that, and Monster is one of those.
At current standing, Monster is sitting at just under $18 per share, pretty steady over the last quarter, but ready to become one of the hot stocks?. What you should know is that Monster’s success as a company will be directly tied with how many people are looking for jobs. The company benefits some when folks lose their jobs, because those individuals use Monster to search for new work. But the better situation is when the economy comes back, because companies will be posting more job openings. As new graduates come out in the workforce, there will be many more positions to choose from in the coming months. Monster, Inc. will help those people hook up with the growing job market.
The economic crunch is not over yet, but it’s close to being over. If you’re able to hop on board with Monster at its current price, you might be able to bring home some nice returns when the stock shoots up over the next year. The growth that investors have seen over the last year has been remarkable and it should continue. This is a stock that has been flying under the radar for quite some time, and it looks like it will continue to be undervalued over the next few months. Its current stock price will head north of $20 by the end of the year, though. When the new year brings along job growth, Monster will benefit directly from that.
It’s important to understand how the changing market impacts various companies. The next part of the equation is to understand how well a business is put together. Is their idea a solid and sustainable one? Monster has all of that and they have a service that isn’t likely to go away in the near future. These things combine to make it a hot stock for the near future.

Pretty crazy article over at MSNBC. A 43-year old man in downtown Tampa holds a huge sign trying to find a job.
He’s given up on trying to find a job on Monster, b/c according to him there are “hundreds of people applying for the same job there”.

Humor in a cheerless economy = the new Monster ad. And the best part: People really like it according to Omnicom.
Today the NY Times published a great article about the new ad campaign of Monster.com. The campaign will run in January and will go toe against toe with Careerbuilder during the Superbowl. Will be interesting to see whether Monster and Omnicom or Careerbuilder and BBDO will pull in more traffic

Monster.com finally released their new product and it looks promising. First of all, Monster.com allows
Peronalisation: Private Dashboard, a career builder and all a little bit more Web 2.0. Overall it is a very interesting concept to engage the users with their system. Monster’s biggest problem was the one stop users, which came in, uploaded their resume and never came back. With the new career management tools a more helpful approach is taking over the old school search tool.

The change of Monster.com is a typical change of how companies need to adapt to their clients. Searching and finding the right job is one of the most stressful an annoying parts in life and with the new Monster, it hopefully will go in the right direction. Users are looking into more than just search when they use Monster.
Users, who want to search already found job aggregation sites like Simplyhired or Indeed.com.
