Linkedin’s Crazy Recession Growth
It’s quite a unique phenomen that a worldwide recession helps social businessnetworks like Linkedin and Xing to grow exponentially.
According to Comscore Linkedin US is up 22 percent in traffic with 7.7 million unique visitor in Decemeber.
The totally minutes spent on the site doubled in January to 96.8 million. I am pretty sure that Xing doesn’t look much different.
I haven’t compared these numbers with sites like Monster, Carreerbuilder or Indeed, but I would not be surprised if the traffic of these social networks increased far mor than the ones of the traditional job sites.
